The stars aligned for the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood team at the Beverly Hilton last night for the 77th Annual Golden Globes. Quentin Tarantino’s ninth film scored big, winning Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Screenplay, and Brad Pitt for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture. Picking up the trophy for Best Screenplay, Tarantino thanked his stellar cast and dedicated the award to the ‘Dean of Screenwriters,’ Lawrence of Arabia & Doctor Zhivago scribe Robert Bolt. During his acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actor, Brad Pitt urged the audience, “If you see a chance to be kind to someone tomorrow take it. I think we need it.” Speaking for the group after the Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy announcement, producer David Heyman gave “a million thanks to everybody who worked on the film, in front of and behind the camera.”
